From the wife!

308 with a 1 in 12 twist rate. So I guess the 155s up to the 180s will be good?

I may rebarrel this to something else as I have a 10FP LE2B in 308. Or may turn the 10 into my "sniper" rifle and use the BR for my target rifle.

Either way I will shoot the 12 first and see how it goes.

Way to go. Christmas came early.

All those bullet weights will work.

Bed it, load up, and go have some fun.

worry, about the next build after you have that silly grin on your face from smacking stuff at silly distances.

Enjoy...

Hey Max,

I did the exact same thing... :D

Execpt that I brought myself the Savage 12 BR in 308 as my Christmas gift.

I can't wait to test that rifle, just waiting for the optic

Have fun!

She's a twin.

She doesn't like putting pictures of herself on the net. Even cleaned up her Spacebook account.

I am down 2 scopes. Was hoping to get a Sightron 6X24 from Mysticplayer for a 260. But think the Savage 308 will take priority over the Tikka.

6X24 or the 10X50X60 ( I think.....) for the 308?

Plan on long range target shooting to 1,000 with this one. Suspect I'll get another Near base and ring set up. Might go 25 MOA base.......

With 50 mins of elevation in the 10-50, you have plenty for most 308 uses. Just use the MOA base and Burris Sig rings as needed to shim the scope.

As much as I love the 10-50, it is geared for paper punching. I use my 6-24 and 8-32 way more for LR plinking.

Different scopes, different applications.
