Actually, it would be good for Wendy to see. It completely contadicts all the swill she and her ilk have been feeding the masses. I would like to hear the spin she puts on it, strictly for its entertainment value.:stirthepot2:

it's actually a full auto Stgw90, the 3 rd-burst and full auto setting is covered up by the little metal plate behind the selector switch.

Shooting course for 16 to 19 year olds to teach them shooting before they do the mandatory military service. The army supplies rifles and ammo, the shooting clubs hold the course.

That's actually illegal since 1999.
You have to go straight home after a training or a shooting match.
It's not a very strictly enforced rule, but going shopping with a rifle on the back would be a no-go.

you will also notice that there is nothing else but Stgw90, Stgw57, Carbine 31 and the odd match rifle. On the 300m-ranges nothing else is allowed. And I always have a hard time to convince the range officer on my range to let me shoot my Howa in .308. For some reason most people here thing just because it has a scope on it will make bigger holes.

Over here, things are going down the hill, too.

In two months there is a vote about wether the service man should keep the rifle at home or at the armoury.

If this initiative gets accepted, then shooting in Switzerland is pretty much dead as it is now and everything that you see on the pictures disappears.

Good luck, Hamster!:)

I hope the initiative is rejected, I'd hate to see your country change for the worse.

Going there to visit family next September.......might not come back after seeing this:D

Which part of the country are you visiting?

By the way: most 300m-ranges are closed between October and March.

@Maplesugar: thanks. There are still chances that common sense prevails. Most people simply don't care for guns and don't have any negative feelings toward people who have guns.

We'll see what the future brings.
