what is 7.62x39 tracer ammo going for these days

i have a few crates of the stuff i bought at lever arms a while back but very few of them fully light up red like 1 in 20. buyers beware..

What distance were you shooting them at?

Shooting at 500 meters I found 100% light up on the few that I found to put through my rifle.

About 800 shot so far and all have lit up for me. Some have taken more distance to light though. Lots of fun too bad we cant get any more.

i tried them at all distances, i was shooting them at night into a rock face about 2000 meters away

Hmm. You can reverse that figure for my batch. I'd say barely 1 in 20 doesn't light up for me. Usually when shooting too close.

You're right. You should save them for a serious occasion. Drunken revelry would be acceptable. Maybe a Birthday. But not for sh1ts and giggles. Completely inappropriate.
