I have been looking for a descent grip for my M4 for a while and the 2 I have seen that are reasonable price are the MOE and the Hogue. I like the look of the MOE a little more but I have 2 hogue grips and they are nice. I was wondering if the "anit-slip" grip on the MOE is rubberized or at least have a nice grippy feel to them. I would like something that is more comfortable/ergonomic as well as a nice tack to it for a postive gripping surface. Also if there are any other grips you recommend besides these 2 let me know as I would like to order one asap. thanks

The MOE is hard polymer, not grippy. However the NEW MOE Gen 2 is supposed to have rubberized characteristics...

I took the Hogue off my rifle and replaced it with an MOE - The MOE is hard, but very grippy on the sides - I prefer it, but I also recognize that the Hogue is more comfortable... But the Hogue doesn't come in FDE, which rocks!

Where's the best place to buy/order Magpul stuff from anyways. I live in BC, the stuff I have already I bought from Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply, but they don't have an online store, just price list.

Depends, I just bought a MIAD grip, sling, AFG2, and some rail covers on eBay from the US. I'm not sure if dealers down there are supposed to deal directly with Canadian customers, but as long as they're happy to ship, I'm happy to pay lower prices.

Brownells, ship USPS parcel post. Can ship any Magpul stuff under $100US per shipment.

Shipping was about $10 on my last order. $5 brokerage fee from Canada Post plus HST upon delivery.

Check the dealers at the top of the page. Questar is real good (got my MOE there) and I have had great dealings with FAB Sports (Pmag Ranger plates). I have not contacted any others. Different dealers carry different magpul stuff it seems but contact them, they all can likely get certain stuff if you need.

I'm familiar with many of the dealers and have looked through their sites - Magpul isn't that easy to find..
right now I'm looking for a CTR stock and MBUS sights - anyone know the best prices I should be able to find for those 2 items specifically?

Questar has both, $150 and $80 respectively. You can search their sight based on Manufacturer. This makes finding all their Magpul stuff real easy.

I just got my MOE grip today for my M4 and its great. The grip is all plastic but very good traction and great ergonomics, also I like that magpul has a bunch of different core inserts. One for bulletts, batteries, and one that carries a spare bolt and firing pin.

Just remember if it's a norc m4 you will have to fit the front hand guard by trimming/chamfering the flanges on the hand guard...

You've got that right...

Questars prices are close to double Brownells on the Magpul CTR and BUIS. I like to support Canadians as much as the next guy but come on.
