Have the NP-22 but am reading that many don't like the plastic grips.
Haven't tried it yet, but they do feel pretty basic. I am not fond of plastic anything.

So, I am wondering about Hogue grips or other alternatives.
Any suggestions for grips available in Canada?

I found some new old stock Pachmayrs on Ebay. They are designed for the old style of Sig's trigger drawbar spring so they work with NP-22. They were cheap as well.

I bought a used Pachmayrs grip from a member here on CGN. It made the grip a LOT fatter though but it still fits my hands decently.

I did my NP34 and NP58 with hogue grips. The 34 was a P.O.S. before , now is a close second for fav(just bhehind the glock). Dad did his NP22 with the hogue grips as well. All are sig grips

OK, I just got my NP22 last night. Looks great. I don't even mind the grips. BUT, does anyone else find the double action trigger pull to be waaaaaay too hard?
Will it lighten with use?
Thanks in advance

How does hogue grips fits on NP34? I'm finding that original Sig 228 grips sitting lover then they suppose to, leaving a small gap on the grip on the top.
Do you have similar issue with Hogue on NP34?

No problems with any hogue grips we have put on. We did lock tight the screws and inserts (with purple lock tight) after one came out during a shoot. All the grips where bought on ebay for under $20 per.

Hogue with finger grooves are on my n58 and I love them. Had hogue plain on my np22 and they were better than stock but I wished I had gotten the finger grooved on both. Got one set on eBay and the other at Elwood epps I believe

Buy some snap caps for your gun and when not at the range and bored, fire the gun with the snap caps double action. Mine is loosening up nicely.
