two things:
1. identifying
2. parts needed

I have the barrels and (damaged) forestock from an older SxS that I would like to do 'something' with

I don't have pics, nor the macro capability to shoot the markings, but here they are (as best as I can make them out):

On the top:
R barrel: LIG ELGOIBAR SPAIN
L Barrel: Made in SpAIN

On the bottom:

Sorry, but my terminology for SxS is lacking...
by the block (with the clip to hold it in the forestock/receiver, it has the following... sideways"
starting from the muzzle end, working towards the receiver end

G1 12.76 LI 11**5 (I assume this is the serial no.)
Then there is a series of symbols, I`ll try to descibe them as best I can:

1. There is a shield, square top and sides, curved bottom with an X in the middle
2. It looks like a set of crossed canoe paddles with a number 2 in the center (I know they can`t be paddles)
3. Another shield, same size and shape as the first, the letters BP in the top,and a horizontal oval near the bottom.
4. Last is another shield, same as above, with what looks like a set of crossed swords (rapiers) through it, from the top, with the handles facing out. The letters CH are inside the shield
5. On the R barrel side it has 1.080 KGS following the symbols

It has 2 beads, one on the end (as normal) and another 14-7/8 inch from the receiver (the barrels are 29-7/8 inches long)

I know it is a 12 Ga, but other than it`s tragic history, I know nothing else.

The barrels by themselves are useless to me, so I`d like to do something with them... What are my options in both aspects...
1. back as an original(ish) hunting gun
2. as a tacticool(ish) toy

Opinions on which way to go... are yours to give

If you are really lucky you might locate another gun of the same model. then you would need to get the barrels fitted to the frame. Those old Spanish guns were individually fitted, not mass produced on CNC machines so the barrels are not interchangeable as a rule. Many of the Spanish guns were built on the same basic frames, but without more to go on it would not be possible to point you in a more productive direction. sorry!
 
OK, you have barrels and a damaged forend from a Spanish shotgun. It has a Spanish maker's name and Spanish proof marks.
You are wondering if you could make up a hunting gun or a tactikewlish gun (sawing off the barrels?).
Your going to need to find an action with stock to which the barrels might be fitted. While it might be possible to buy another shotgun like this one, the chances of getting either the back half, or of fitting your barrels to anything you find are not good.
Check the listing of double guns at Trade Ex - above. They have some Spanish doubles.
Basically you have a set of barrels of nominal value with which would be very difficult to do anything.
 
L.I.G.(La Industrial Guipuzcoana) is the maker. Elgoibar is the city where they are, in Spain.
If you only have the barrels, you might as well make a lamp. Finding a proper receiver will be problematic.
 
There are a few folks who use breechloading barrel sets to make muzzleloading doubles.
If someone had a gun by this maker there is a slim chance the barrels could be fitted to make a two barrel set. You could advertise for a gun, or offer the barrels for sale.
