Our New brakes made specifically for the VZ 58 are in. They are a quick dissipation brake with no ports lower than the horizontal to minimize dust print while shooting prone or over obstacles. These are made from stainless and finished with a black oxide. The future batches will be made in steel and parkerized.

We also have a version of this brake for the AR that is absolutely fantastic.

They should be available on our site by days end. E-mails are out to our dealers as of now.

The VZ one is nice, the AR one is spectacular.

Just a stupid newb question, if I may ask.
Does the brake have to be gunsmithed to mate with the barrel or does the barrel have to be threaded.?
Thanks.

How does this brake's performance compare to your Hybrid brake?

The Hybrid Brake is a NEA product. This is a brake, whereas the NEA hybrid does brake some, it is an excellent flash supressor.. ours is a flash maker-bigger. ;) This brake is designed to make hammers and tapps smooth on the VZ, and the most important feature is the minimized dust print design that does not direct any gasses below the horizontal plane.

How much for the vz brake? If its not way out to lunch msg me ill take one.

$55.. and we didn't even have to go to China to get that pricing for you. ;)

So there's no way to score the best of both worlds? It's either flash suppression or muzzle rise reduction. Ghey. I'm interested but I've gotta find a local smith to remove the stinkin' extension off my d-technik vz58. Sucks to be american... or not.

Sure there is.. this one is not designed as a flash suppressor.. "Ghey" or not. You could always design something specific to your needs.
