Hello CGN,

I'm want to puchase my next shorty AR next month and I need your help/suggestion/etc.

I would like to get 10.5" or maybe 7.5" barrel length. My price range is between $1000-$2000. Is there any company I should go look for that would have the barrel I wanted?

Thanx for your help.

Check out Questar's website by clicking on their banner at the top of the page. Look at a Rock River Arms pistol with a stock on it, or a 10.5'' LMT. I believe they have both in stock at this time. I have both of the above, you will like either, simply choose what you like the looks of best!

Go to the Dlask Arms website and check out the DAR 7.5 CQB upper for $1400 and throw the dlask lower on it for $498. Its worth a look.

Thanx for the help guys. I will definitely check out LMT defender 2000.
Does anyone know where I can get this rifle? which store has it?

^^^ Thanx! but I think I'm going to stay with the 10.5" barrel.

Get the PWS 10.5" from either Questar or One Shot tactical! The run perfect, clean, bolt stays cool and the recoil is softer than any midlength DI AR15 I ever fired.

I've got two RRA 7.5 barreled ar. One in 9mm and the other in 5.56

They have been running just fine for the last 5 years I've owend them. They just like to be soaking wet to work properly but that is probably because I have yet to clean them since I bought them.

You'd have to be smoking crack to pay $1400 for a Dlask upper. That is in the leagues of a Noveske, LMT, Colt, etc.

Your easiest option is to pickup a 10.3" LMT upper. They are always for sale in the EE or from a number of dealers. Then you can build a mk18 clone for a pretty reasonable price.

I've sniffed a few cracks in my day but never smoked one;).....I have a complete Dlask 7.5"CQB .556 and for pure Sh$ts & Giggles it's tough to beat. My friend owns a 10.5" LMT and its also a blast to shoot.

Get what turns your crank 'cause you're the one paying for it.

Questar can supply or Build you a shorty upper to your specs, Military grade or Match.
Arms east can build you a N8 upper, which I believe is 12.5" now.
Both would be superb quality

One Shot Tactical can order you one and you will get it someday :)

Thanx again people for all the suggestion. I think I'll stay with the 10.3 LMT uppers instead of a 7.5.
