Went to one of the cwd zones which was open till Dec 20 last weekend.
So the goverment extends the season to thin out the the deer, but gettjng permission to hunt on private property, basically the entire wmu, was like pulling hens teeth.
All the hunters are driving around doing drive by shootings like gangsters , how is game management ackomplished in these zones, I would hate to have a draw tag for that wmu, it would be a waste of money.
So when the deer are stumbling around the farmers yard in a crazy state, potetionaly infecting the live stock, maybe they should have let a few hunters hunt there property.
We were bow hunting, not rifle hunting so all we wanted to do is spot and stalk, no noise, no chance of shooting a cow or horse, or a bullet flying a stray , the only evidence that we would leave is some foot prints in the snow and if we were lucky a red spot also.
Okay , where is the spell check?
Also I have to say there are allot of land owners who are great in allowing access to there property, not in this area though.

. Keep in mind WHY the farmers don't look at every guy they've never seen before, that's knocking on their door or phoning them, like they are long lost friends.
