Differences between Vz58, Cz858 and Fsn-01?

New to the gun world and I was wondering about differences between the above mentioned guns. They all look like they're based on a similar platform. Are they just built by different manufacturers. Are there quality or performance differences. And lastly is there an aftermarket of parts (composite stocks, grips) available for them in canada?

hahaha, sorry.

almost all the above sponsers sell parts for the vz,cz,czh,csa,fsn series rifles and the vast majority of them are interchangeable. They are all roughly the same mechanical wise but some are offered with different options. I have a cz, csa and just sold a czh all with have given me little to zero grief, mindyou a couple of Failures To Eject but that was solely on the cheap surplus ammo. Great rifles for the $$$$$, They have to be my favourite. I have owned many m4-m16's, m14's and even a swiss arms classic green, but I keep coming back to the cz's.

That was extremely helpful, was just trying to figure out which version to get in order to get non-restricted with a chrome bore.

CZH VZ58L is the only one that is non res and chromed bore but unfortunately they are not avail new , you'll have to find one on EE.

too early to tell , i dont know anybody that has all 4 varitants.

CZ 858 compared to an CZH 2003 VZ 58L

Beside's the fact that the bolt carrier had to be moded & less room in the reciver. There is the saftey is also different. Plus on some of the U-Build's that Marstar had on clearance some of the chamber's of the CZH 2003 series were slightly smaller witch requires some polishing to slightly enlarge it.

I realize that but in a general sense.. compare one against another just to give an indication; the receivers would be the same regardless of barrel length as would (except the shorty) the furniture etc. It would at least give us an idea WRT fit / finish and general QC from the manufacturers in question.
