currently she uses her gym bag and an ammo can to cart her stuff to the range

she has 3 pistols at this time and 16 mags for those pistols

so room for those (preferably divided), ammo, targets, PPE, stapler, gloves and a pouch for fired brass

i have seen the 5.11 bags they seem ok she does not like black and these seem to be mostly in black only

to the maxpedition versipack style of bag interests her is there one that would be big enough for all her gear?

hard cases are ok aswell

i know there are a few posts about range bags but none have the info i seek

lets see what we can come up with, keep it under $200 and post pics if you can

Canadian made and distributed by the manufacturer and a few IPSC shooter sales reps.

I have the Midwayusa Competition Range Bag.

Midway doesn't ship to Canada but if you have someone in the USA who can ship it to you it's the best deal out there for $39.99

the ones from shooters supplies look the same as the ones from midway usa so i will assume they are chinese

the canadian option looks good i will probably go with unless i find another north american made product that is better

Why would you put her in a bag to take her to the range? Can't she walk on her own or are you that embarrassed by her?

:) kidding

Your girlfriend? Why havnt you married her.

neither of us see the point of spending 10k to get married when we are happy just as we are

she would argue that there would also be less gun money floating around

yesterday she told me we need to get more surplus 7.62x39 to add to the stash w:h:

and just to answer 4string. she is both restricted and prohibited by barrell length and caliber :D

I use a Husky tool carrier for my range gear. Since the pistols should be locked up I would suggest a steel tool box. Make her a hold to fit inside to hold her guns.

I can vouch for the 5.11 Range Qualifier Bag. The quality is great. For 3 pistols and 16 mags she would do better with the Range Ready Bag (40% bigger). They come in OD as well if black is a no-go. The Uncle Mike's and Midway bags seem to have the same features as the 5.11 but there is some talk on Amazon that the build quality is not the same.

I carried 2000 230gr bullets and 2000 large pistol primers back from the range last night in my midway bag along with the rest of my gear.
That's about 65Lbs just in lead.
It's more than strong enough for anything you can throw at it.
I've also brought it back home filled to the rim with brass on several occasions.

Lucky bastard. I dislike you very much - in the best of ways

x2 - she have a like-minded sister or two going spare ???

Anyway, back to subject at hand, I use a 511 Tactical bag that I can vouch for ( they also come in OD ) and I can also recommend for smaller stuff the 'Go' bag sold by LA POlice Gear amongst others online ( they come in Tan, black and OD ).

5.11 makes a good series of bags, they have a range specific bag that retails $120-150 in black and army green

Also if you want more of a general storage bag for tools, ammo etc, look at a police duty bag, you can get them for 40-60

http://www.gordoncontract.ca/5.11_Patrol_Ready_Bag%2C_Black%2C_59012Black.1055.146.1.htm

I carry a duty bag for all my ewquipment and a range specific bag for the mags, ear protection, etc. Works out great.

That store I linked even carries there own brand for 40 bucks and is great quality, ive lifted 75 pounds no problem with them, and im sure it could hold more but it was maxed out with ammo. They dont advertise it on the site as they are trying to push an exclusive contract they have with 5.11 gear, but there line of Sgt.Max is made by the same factory for half the price.
