Okay, I picked up my first AR a couple of months by trading in a bunch of quality firearms that were surplus to my needs. Up till that time I laughed at AR guys and all the parts and bits they kept on buying.

Now I am hooked and need therapy. I check EE several times a day to see if I can get a steal on the next thing I think I need for my rig.

I lay awake at night obsessing over which optic will be perfect for everything.

I have Pmags coming out my wazzo and enough tactical gear to make my wife look at me strange. "Think of it as Lulu Lemon for shooters" I say. She just rolls her eyes and walks away.

Now I find myself thinking about getting some more bits just cause they will look cool.:eek:

I know coming here is like I am looking for help for alcohol addiction at the LCBO but I don't know where to turn. Help please:D

Sun: Day spent on CGN-------------no good
Mon: AA meeting-------------------no good
Tues: Toonie meal day at KFC-------no good
Wed: Wings and maybe just 1 beer--no good
Thurs: My other AA meeting---------no good
Fri:###aholic meeting---------------no good
Sat: I'm shootin--------------------no good
Aaah hell count me out

Well you know, the first step in dealing with an addiction is admitting that there is a problem, and it sounds like you've taken that step.

Of course the only thing we're gonna do is talk you into buying more toys! :D
 
Bolivar, considerring the recoil, take the wife shooting and get her hooked too.

Just wait until you build the parts into your first lower,,, like crack it is,,,.

200 is a small price to pay. It is only 500 rounds of 5.56 - it is well worth the price.

The first thing you need to realize is that THERE IS NO CURE! The only thing you can do is take it one day at a time and TRY to be rational. This means only 2 or 3 purchases from the EE in one day, not 6 or 10. If you have to sell some of your treasures at a loss to purchase more, it is for a good cause. There are others that suffer the same, and are waiting for your deals too.:D:D:D
