just wondering if anyone out there could tell me if the magazines for the .40 226 will fit in a 9mm .226 grip and feed properly. Same logic as the LAR-10 magazines, capacity's based on the gun it's made for, right?

Mags for .40 S&W for the P226 will fit and actually work in the P226 in 9 mm. Not only that, but they hold two more rounds and it's even legal! There may be a slight feeding problem occasionally (some adjust the lips a bit as long as they still feed .40 well) but I have not have had this problem. One of the little Sig shooters' secrets...

Ummm, that's kinda the point... Yes, go ahead and do it. Unless you mean don't try to use 9mm ammo in a 357/40 BARREL.... THAT would not be the best idea.
