Vortex Strikefire died quickly -edited - Replacement working fine

!!! SEE!!! That's why I say his posts make me giggle... Because I know some medical professionals are out there... Looking for him. :p

Same. Except my giggle is disturbingly non-manly...

I can't see post counts on my phone, but I'd venture to guess he's got several thousand posts just chock-a-block full of nuggets of knowledge for the inexperienced and gullible?

HEY! My giggle is so manly that the most manly of men WISH they could giggle like me whilst remaining so manly!

And yeah... He's got 4,673 posts fully of valuable nuggets of "expert" knowledge. Of course if you look at post counts, I only have like 350 or something.

(Sigh.) I only wish I could giggle in a manly fashion. That's why I chuckle most of the time.

I'm pretty sure my post count is lower than that...

Ah well. On the internet, as in life, those who say the most often have the least to say.

Ok lets put this thread to bed.

1) Vortex nor anyone else is stating that the Vortex RDS' are anywhere equal to something like Aimpoint.

2) Vortex wanted to create the BEST RDS in the mid level price range they could. They stated openly on AR15.com that there were lots of cheap chinese RDS out there and then the super expensive Aimpoints and such. The wanted something in between that users could be proud of.

3) If Vortex wanted their products to be as good as Aimpoint then they could probably do so BUT that would raise the costs of their products. Vortex openly states that they have cut costs by cutting some corners. Such as having their products made over seas rather than in the US. They stated that there was the main factor in keeping the costs down.

4) Vortex stand by their products as their warranty has shown time and time again.

5) I think the main reason for Aimpoint being better is two things. First they are made in the US and thus the quality of the work is higher due to higher wages. Second, they probably have more tough quality control. They might take one of every 100 made and test it whereas Vortex might take one in 1000.

6) Vortex created an RDS for those that don't need a $500, $600 or even $1000 RDS on their gun when taking it to the range but wanted something better than $50 knockoffs. In my opinion Vortex knocked it out of the park with their line of RDS'.

that's a 10-4. 5'2" and 200 lmao. Or as they say "horizontally challenged".

Got to give him credit, he has a lot of confidence for such a specimen. :p

I don't care what anyone says though, being out of shape and not having discipline to eat the right foods spills over into all aspects of life.

Took my new CQA to the range today. After I sighted in the carry handle sight. I removed it and sighted in the Strikefire.

After 20 rounds of Fiochi ball it was sighted in at 50 yards. I started checking it at 100 yards when the red dot disappeared.

I put in a fresh battery and still no luck. It's dead.

Guess I'll find out how good the lifetime guarantee is

Same with me after 83 rounds of 5.56 on my AR... Just up and left it did !

Junk scope.

I eat all the right foods and even exercise but it doesn't do jack#### for me.
