I was looking through the Bass Pro Shop flier and found this cool looking rifle/shotgun and it really caught my eye.

I havent gone to the store to look at it yet but I was just wondering if anyone has one of these and if so how do you like it?

Second question. I think it might need an RPAL but not sure, Anyone know for sure?

phoned last week sales person didnt have any idea when or if they would get any in stock. i would love to have one.

Been the twice in the last 3 days, they don't have em.
I once tried to buy one of their sale item rifles ( savage 17 hmr ) I phoned daily for a month before saying screw it.

That rear stock is ridiculous. A butt pad for that combo is unnecessary. The name makes me think old west but the style is modern IMO.

They are restricted. I was at my local gun shop yesterday and taking a look at one of these, kinda interesting, but its stupid they are restricted.

I have seen single shot 410's with a 12" barrel non restricted. My SR22 has a 12" barrel, non restricted.
I could see it if they are calling the action a hand gun action originally.

those Boito hiker .410s (12''barrel) are LOUD with out ear protection. I can imagen this thing will be too.

The RCMP deemed it to be a pistol frame, basically a taurus judge and thus restricted. It has nothing to do with barrel length or OAL.

I just saw this gun for the first time while looking through a copy Rifle magazine that was in my "stocking" on Christmas morning. As you might expect, the RCMP took the fun out of it with the restricted designtion. Too bad.

Bass Pro is really great about getting in stock the items in their flyers.

I still have the rain check they gave me for the Rossi 16" .44mag lever gun they advertised a few years back. None came into the store in time for the sale.

It should be in any day now...

They are restricted cause you can take out the stock and put some kind of pistol grip on it.So it will become a revolver with a long cannon!
