Demon Tactical Quick Pin for ar 15

hi, anybody knows where i could buy one of these Demon Tactical Quick Pin to prevent the looseness on my ar's upper and lower receiver? i tried ear foam,it still has some looseness, and i fear putting in an accuwedge will bind my pin and wear it out prematurely


i would prefer a pin that locks in place... thx

$40 spent on something that looks destined to snag on your sling and everything else seems like a waste. That and it is intended to fix a problem that is not a problem.

hey, thx for the link... though there was a bad review about that pin...

p.s. i know some looseness is normal, but it DOES bother me...trying to tighten it up... the ear plug trick doesnt work anymore...

LOL another POS part that solves an nonexistant problem, This and do not solve any problems and in fact can contribute to your rifles early demise.If the there is excessive movement you really need to to replace the defective part or just buy a matching upper and lower recievier.

if there is some loseness between my receivers, you tell me not to waste 40 bucks on a pin that ''might'' wear up a receiver prematurely but to spend an excess of 150-200 $ to replace a receiver alltogether ...to avoid wearing out my gun... good advice

If you really want to prevent wear, I have a magical rock you put in your pocket when shooting. It not only stops, but reverses all wear! It also improves accuracy, reverses male pattern baldness, and cures impotence.

Only three easy payments of $32.32!
 
The reason that these items are sold in the US is not for the semi automatic AR crowd but for the Full Auto Title III holders as a replacement reciever is arround 5- 10,000.00 dollar range

last time you were out of town, your wife and i went :adult:

she now has looseness in both her upper and lower receiver. You are going to need one of your rocks ; i dont think a pin like yours will work anymore

it doesnt make it anymore logical, 40 $ is still cheaper than 200

Er...really? Every military M-16 C-7 I handled had slight looseness, very little, but it was always there. Trust me when I tell you, the military is not interested in firearms that don't last two decades worth of service...costs too much from their budget.

So...if there is enough looseness that it bothers you, perhaps you need to have it checked out by a smith. Too much won't be cured by a little pin of this kind: the specs for the receiver may not have been followed during manufacturing, and that alone could result in significant damage in a short time, or worse a safety issue.

I'm 95% certain yours is just fine, and that this little pin won't do anything for you but cure the "feel" of your rifle. That's fine, not expensive and no harm done, go for it. But I VERY much doubt it will actually improve the life of your rifle, or improve it's accuracy.

thx for the post.

im just trying to improve my AR ,without costing too much. and that pin seem the proper way to go. i have an acquaintance in the US that owns an AR and has one, he likes it a lot... down the line , this thread was intended to find someone to let me know if they knew of a canadian seller that was stocking these ...
