The paint job on the wood looks fantastic, the tone is a great match to an original SVD.

Have you fired through the fake suppressor yet? I always wondered if it was safe to fire through an empty can if there was no barrel extension inside, if the rifle would shift slightly as fired and the bullet would ricochet inside the can.

I wasn't planing to shoot it with a fake can on. That was put on just for pics.

But if it was made from proper material, and screwed on tight, I think you could shoot with it.. But why .. Unless it is heavy and Helps to loose muzzle rise..

Yep, when its in my safe it clears the shelf by about .4" lol, so when I go out I unscrew it properly

As for explaining how it is done... there is not much to it... other then make custom furniture.... the rest is straight forward, let me know if you want to know something in particular.

Fake cans are from chinese airsoft websites.. the middle one uses two cans combined..
