So I just received my brand new Sig TAC OPS in the mail. And When I opened it I relized they sent me 4 of the regular sigsauer magazines but in the description prior to ordering it, it said 4 extended magazines, obviously they would have been pinned to 10 rounds anyway so I don't really care plus it saves there being any marks on the mags from the process of pinning them but I am more or less wondering if this is normal for the ones being imported to here or not... I am not by any means complaining just curious as it is not what was described to me....
The pistol fits my hands amazingly and I love the night sights with the tritium fiber optic they glow awesome in the dark. The magazines fit and release like butter and the pistol is flawless. Did I mention the SRT trigger is completely amazing...

I have the TACOPS as well (got mine form Questar) and think it is a great gun. Mine did come with the 20rd mags as pictured in the photo you posted. They look very good from the outside and add a little extra mass to the mags. If you are looking to shoot competitively in IPSC or IDPA you may want to consider exchanging the mags, but if you are happy with the non-pinned 10rd mags or are just shooting for fun then I wouldn't worry about it.

Enjoy - I know I certainly am.

Well.. The extended are easier to insert with those magwell grips on. They are crappy for competition; never drop them on the floor...

If you don't mind, well it's alright. But you didn't really get what you paid for. Those extended mags are expensive and I've read some reports that some dealers might not provide them. Your call.

Enjoy the pistol, it's very nice!

your SIG TACOPS must be delivered with 4x20rnds original mags pinned to 10
contact your dealer for an exchange and also ask for an explanation !

Contacted them today and they fed some BS line that the Canadian edition comes with the regular 10 round magazines... That they can't do anything about it... But every add and detailed description I see says the TAC OPS is standard with the 20 round extended mags...
Not pleased with them for just shooting my question down. He asked if I got the description from there website or the manufacturers website but there website gives no descriptions for special orders just a link to the manufacturer therefore isn't that the description given by them?? after all they link you to them for the description. The guy said he just spoke with the manager for me and that he said it is standard for the short mags here so nothing they can do.

PM's sent

Guess I will have to buy some extended ones from somewhere else....
Does bug me as they are twice the price and I should have received them to begin with or at least send twice as many regular mags to account for the cost difference;)

The mags I did receive are very good quality all steel magazines that have not been pinned or welded. They function very well and I will continue to shop from this dealer I was just surprised more than anything...
