Hey Gang,

Was Just doing my usual YouTube searches and came across this video. Its a new stock for AR15`s for bumpfiring. Doubt we will see any this side of the border, but its pretty neat non-the-less :ar15:

this looks more like the type of thing that ruins a good restricted rifle and makes them prohib because of stupid abuse

i don't see how an add-on makes things any more restricted or prohib. when it doesn't actually change any mechanical aspect of the firearm.

Jeez they make FA adapters? Thats something that I could buy and add in and it might make my restricted rifle prohib because of stupid abuse.

Same shxt only one ISN'T full auto.

Then again, didn't they ban the 10/22 version whatever that thing was called?

i just see the RCMP being pissy about it, and finding a way to ruin everyones fun if we employ every loophole in a single firearm, be it a 10 round 'pistol' mag, or a 'semi auto' bump stock that emptys a 10 round mag in 2 seconds.

loopholes are good until they figure them out and fix the holes, but its just my $0.02

Its funny that when I was the first to post this about a month ago the only response was "prohib cuz its auto" or "I'm not sure what I'm looking at". I even brought these videos to my local range. They told me my membership would be revoked if I brought this there.

The ruger 10/22 stock was the akins accelerator. It has a funny story... at first the BATF approved it in writing and they were sold to masses but soon after they changed the definition of full auto fire and banned the stock. The stock had a spring in it so it was a mechanical device. The whole receiver and barrel recoiled in the stock. They requested that the spring that made the stock work be taken out and surrendered to BATF to avoid prosecution. This story reminds me of the T97 and RCMP fiasco we have in Canada with approval and then withdrawal of approval.

Here are a few photos of the ruger stock:

that video of the ruger accelerator is AWSOME haha. it would be so fun to have something that shot a .22 that fast. it would still be cheap to shoot like that.

Wouldnt be illegal as its not a mechanical device or an alteration to the firearm itself however i could see alot of ranges considering it full auto fire as ranges themselves have to be permitted/allowed by the CFO for full auto fire.

I would still buy one if i had the cash though , #### it why not .

Very nice. Our existing laws would probably not restrict this, as cited by many. BUT I am inclined to think RCMP will quickly come up with something to plug the gap. Furthermore, ranges will probably not touch it with a 10 foot pole for fear of losing their permit.
