Blueline Lower Quality

I was wondering what the difference is between the Blueline Lower and the Norinco lower in material and quality. I figure if it is noticible it would be a nice addition in order to make the gun partially canadian. If there is not much difference I still maybe consider getting one if I ever decide to build an AR from scratch which leads me to another question what is the overall price difference between building an AR and buying it or is it about the same only you have more control over the parts used. Thanks.

I have a norc upper on a blueline lower and the fit and finish of the blueline blows the norc away.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the blueline lower and it's Canadian made.

Lowers were built by Dlask. The quality is decent.

That is why I wanted to get one. I have an Alberta Tactical rail so I figure another Canadian part wouldn't hurt. How are is it to build the lower basically do you just take the stripped lower and use your old parts or just buy a lower parts kit and will that contain everything I need?

Also I did do a search and it was already stuff I knew like the price of the lower and who had them but there was not enough information on the first page of search to justify not typing my own question as well as another question then try and sift through a bunch of old posts only to find half of the answer I was looking for. Just because the heading says Blueline doesn't mean that it will answer all of the questions I have and if I dug up an old topic and replied to a post I would probably have someone say something about that too but my question has been answered. Thank You.

Contrary to popular belief, the BL lowers are made by Blue Line not Dlask.

That said, they are a very nice lower with an almost 'too tight' lower to upper fit.

I purchased an AR from a gent here on the EE made from Blue Line receivers. Quality is great, and I love the 'Made in Canada' above the trigger

We make our own Blue Line lowers as well as the BL 6 shotgun. The barrel on the BL 6 shotgun is marked Dlask arms because we were buying the barrels from them. We are a licensed gunsmith and manufacture of firearms.

[Blue Line]

The Blue line lower is made by us right here in Canada. These lowers are our production over runs from our military contracts. Dlask does not make our lowers. I would like to know this "horse’s mouth" that you heard this from so that I may speak with the individual in question.

There is no comparison between our lower and a Norinco. Ours are far superior.
