What parts fit on the new Carbine?

I just ordered mine from GP Tactical and am waiting for the paperwork to transfer, so its not like I can test.

Plus I want to order more.

Specifically:
Ambi safety
Ambi mag release
bolt release

blah blah blah.

There's a lot of them pictured below. I haven't tried my Neit bolt release or ambi mag release on it yet, but don't see why they won't work. I'll give them a try this afternoon if I get a minute.

Thanks bud.

Saw that Gary still had one. Knew I had to jump at it. BTW, is that a 4" rail mounting your light?

Let me know if you have an ambi safety spare you're willing to sell. Cant find a retailer carrying in stock.

The ambi mag release and bolt release will both fit in my CSA carbine. There is one small issue, though. The CSA pin that retains the BHO and mag catch has a head on the right side so it only fits one way in the receiver.

If you install just the mag release it works fine. If you install the bolt release or both of them together you need to remove some material from the head on the pin so you can fully seat it. Or you can use a pin from an 858 with no mods.

I don't have an extra ambi selector. I have one on all three of my VZs and want to keep them all set up the same way. Maybe check with Charles Martel to see when they full production run of the selectors is planned?

oh, ok then

We shot the test carbine to failure. Hand guards melted right off. Other minuses: no way to mount light and dot sight, I'm no fan of the slavic side rail, and the factory mag release was close to useless in cold weather with gloves.

Ambi-features just make common sense for modernizing a rifle.

I'll take the modified carbine though.

Not trying to be rude. Thanks for posting pics. But just like Harvey's I think I'll take it my way. Whole point of getting this rifle for me is low cost on x39. And I plan on putting obscene volumes through it.
