CSA carbine NEIT/NEA parts fit

Try installing the pin in from the other side and not using the keeper pin. I've never used that pin and have never had the cross pin come out. If there's enough interest maybe we'll include 858 pins with them.

But that would remove a chance to use my Dremel!

Seriously, I'm sure that would work but I don't like not using the keeper pin and it's not a big deal to use an 858 pin or mod the pin head or bolt release.

No, it's not. The 858 pin sits flush with the outside of the receiver and doesn't interfere in any way with the bolt release.
 
Damn. I just checked my serial # for the first time and realized that this is #23 in Canada for the CSA carbines.

Very cool. Wish I would have checked the test Carbine for numbering.

Given that Century VZ-2008s have been on sale for about $350 lately there's a lot more of them being sold. Hopefully the Century guns actually work well.
 
Brother's dealer doesn't want to handle them as they are far too hit and miss. Century is sort of a dirty word. Like smelly pirate hookers. So full of exciting promise, yet you know sooner or later your #### IS going to fall off and all your money is gone.

I understand that they like Czechpoint, but the cost differential is relatively high.

I'm reading that these guns are working pretty well.

Our "factory" made guns have issues too, including the dude who's new CSA carbine won't run. My front sight post on my CSA can't be any worse than the Century guns you read about with canted sights.
 
We've got specs sent to us on inletting of some parts, it boggles the mind. It's almost like some of them were made one at a time in the Kyber pass with files and rocks as hammers.

Some of them have been great I'm told. Roll of the dice. But at the price they go for down south.. I'd likely take my chances too. You get what you pay for. Some times you get lucky and get more. Sometimes you ger a really neato paperweight.
 
I didn't mean to hijack your thread, Sprint.

You'll have to bring your carbine over after you get it all pimped out. We'll have a "snow day" at the range.
 
Was talking with M and a few others. Might have a shoot as early as this weekend. I don't see why that couldn't be in PR.
 
Thanks to CGN user Nordlund, my bolt release and ambi selector parts are inbound.

Some days I absolutely love this board.

As I posted earlier. Wolverine had been informed about the the condition of my rifle and says I don't have a warranty issue. Relaying the condition of my rifle to other CGN members is not Wolverine forum material.

I have no idea why you would move it. I certainly broke no forum rules.

Edit: I've now read the thread you moved everything to.
