Red River Sights for Long Range Ram Bashing

I just picked up a couple of these today and I want to show you all . This model is called the mega soule and it is eqipt with a eyecup that has 11 different sized holes, large numbers on both sides of the staff and tons of windage adjustment. I will be installing them on two Remington Hepburns both in 45/70 ,I will see how they work later this year once the snow is all gone.

Where'd you get those bad boys? And what manufacturer are they? They look worthy of being attached to a couple things I got.

And a Rem Hep??? Lucky ba****d! :D
 
Very nice Craig. How do they compare to the MVA's?

They are from Red River Sights out of Winnipeg (it used to be Parts Unknown). He just underwent some changeover in product, and at first glance it lookas an improvement over the last offerings.

Wayne they are alot better for older eyes ,the vernier scale is large and easy to read and on both sides of the staff ,all parts fit tight no slop in any of the movements.

Howard has one on his sharps this year and I will try these on the Hepburn.
I will bring it to Bethune this year , I needed more barrel length over the Sharps.

Yes they are the same sight different name, Red River Sights as far as I know do not have a website they are by word of mouth and the BPCR news the guy to talk to is Sergio phone # is 1-866-239-9451 or 204 487-7185 email him at red.river.a.a.p@mts.net
the mega soule is $385.00 Mid range is $365.00
He might have a few of the older style sights at a savings they are the same as the new ones with a different style eyecup. Check out my Sharps for sale it has a older last years model long range mega soule on it.

I have some of his sights and like them very much, good features for the price and made in my ancestral homeland, fit and finish is not quite up to MVA(the best), but neither is the price..IMHO
 
I have only ever shot silhouette once in lethbridge 2 years ago last summer they didn't have there long range shoot maybe this year I'm hooked even though I only scored 13 hits it was great fun this year I got a browning bpcr to try out can't wait .Those sites look nice and Canadian to boot great stuff.

Get your loads right grab a spotter and come and play at Bethune Sask. There was a bunch of us there from Manitoba and a few guys from northwest Alberta and a hole bunch from Montana and the great people from Shiloh Sharps were there it was a hoot over 58 shooters ,google bethune pasture shooters the contact guy is Len Volman 306-757-4953 or Leo Bumphry 306-522-8760
BTW Leo makes bullet moulds for black powder silhouette shooters and boy do they work!!

Thanks copied the numbers into my book Iknow the boys here shoot at Denelda to each summer
