Buying a SIG P226, need advice.

^^^Be nice. :) ^^^

Exciting news everyone! I ordered the E2 in .40 S&W from questar this evening. I liked the phone conversation too, they seem pretty switched-on to me so far. If i don't like the grips, I will talk to the poster who wanted to buy them. I'm pretty excited, can't wait to get it! Price was $1150.

Now if my club would just get going and hold an ATT course.......

The rosewood grips from the Elite are absolutely beautiful but they might possibly be a problem with sweaty/greasy hands. Solution? Gloves! I tried the stock grips, the Hogues and the Elites win hands down in the looks dept. Just another option to consider.
Here's my P226 wearing the 22lr slide with them on:

To Sig or Not to Sig

Yep, those rosewoods are drop dead ###y. Nice pic!

I too have a Sig P226 Elite with three interchangeable barrels (9mm, .40 S&W and .357 Sig). It also comes with the SRT (short reset trigger) system. Also, I just bought a Sig P229 SAS Gen 1 .40 S&W with the rosewood grips and can't wait to try it out.

You can't go wrong with a Sig and for my money (it's yours really, lol) the P226 Elite is the pistol you should buy

PS - Elwood Epps store in Orillia, ON has two NIB SIG P226 Elite Platinum 9mm pistols for sale at $1330. These are real beauties!:)
