I've recently started reloading(30-06 & 22-250). And I am on the hunt for a Sierra reloading manual, simply because they offer a "most accurate" and a "hunting" load for their bullets, of which I am using . This is also helpful for a beginner like me.

Does anyone know where to get one of these manuals in Canada???

I've contacted Sierra directly and they want $35.00 to ship the $28.00 manual.

My local wholesale sports (at least the fellow I talked to) is useless.

Other local shops aren't much better.

I'm on Vancouver Island and would be looking to place an order and have it shipped. I may have to bite the bullet sort of speak and get it from Sierra directly.

Maybe post a request in the dealer forum. Someone may already have it or be willing to get it for you.

At this link there is a spot for the 30-06, so there is some hope they will publish the Sierra loading guide PDF for that cartridge too, but currently it seems to be dead. 6BR is in the process of changing to a new site. You kind of have to hunt around for the Sierra loading guide. Sometimes it is a Sierra bullet box image that you have to click on, and sometimes it is some Sierra Load Guide hot text.

Also the Nosler Load Data site give what they claim is the most accurate load for rounds. Hodgdon also has all their loading data on line. I find it hard to justify buying hard copy of anything these days. My only reloading manual is a Lyman from 1965 or so.
 
I'm just down the road from you, and I have a copy of the Sierra Rifle & Handgun Reloading Manual Edition V. One of my favorites also as are Sierra bullets. PM me the info on which specific bullet you're looking for for each of the two calibers you've mentioned and I'll see what I can do to help you out until you get a copy.

I was just in Red Deer and the store wolverine gun and tackle had one in stock. can't recall the price though and although they don't have a webstore, they may send it to them if you call. They have a website, google it.
 
I know Epp's had some, but you may even want to try Chapters, if they don't have it they can probably get it.
 
"...for $29.95 a year..." Lots of free sites.
"...try Chapters..." Nope. They don't carry anything that's firearm related.
"...they want $35.00..." Likely cost you close to that anyway. Look into a Lyman manual. It's far more versatile than any bullet or powder maker's manual.
