DA Cougar project is DONE!!!

unless you plan to re-attach the rear ghost ring at some stage, i would cut down that front sight post and put a short HiViz fiber bead on there..

unless you're keeping it high because it co-witnesses with the reddot ? .. in which case... sneaky sneaky :D

i heart that shotgun

Thanks for the comments. Here is my list.

Tac star mag tube extention
Bobcat forend
Mesa tactical Saddle rails
Remington ShurShot stock

Hot looking Cougar!

As the matter of fact mine is in the mail should be here this week (just track the status of my shipment;)).

Do you mind if I ask you how well the dot sight holding up zero and how many rounds have you fired and what shot size?

Thx

A box of target load (25), 20 buckshots, 10 slugs, The red dot is perfect and holds zero no problem. The red dot previously was on my glock CQB kit, 500 rounds 9mm.

Actually I am impressed about the quality, for $60 it worth every penny.

Thank you for you post.

I might pick one up after I decide what to do to it.

Have a question for you: when you press the bolt release button did the shell lifter goes up also when you release the bolt?

I just received mine today (have yet to clean and de-cosmo) but notice the bolt release, shell lifter (trigger group) is not very smooth and I have to look at it tonight when I get home but looks like some parts are just stamped metal on the trigger group and not as well build as my previous remmy (own a 1100 and 1187 a decade ago) and it may need some tweaking / smooth or polish out the rough edges here and there.

If you don't mind please post some pics of the trigger group assembly so I can compare with me.

Thank you in advance!
