Well I finally bought my first 6mmBR barrel, its a Lilja LV 20 1/2" in 14 twist. Would have liked a faster twist but you get what you get when trying to be cheepish. It had 125 rounds down it and it's threaded for Remington 700. I also bought a Remington 700 sps in 243 for a donar action. Now dies, brass and bullets. And of course my gunsmith to put her together. Anything else I need? I assume Lapua brass is only one! For powder, I have 8208xbr, Reloader 10x, 15, H4895 on hand. Who makes dies, RCBS, Redding,...?

I totally see the benefit of the 6br a 1 in 8 or whatever it is that guys use for VLD's when ALL the time is spent punching paper and more than 300Y.
But go to all that work and $ why not spend the same $ and get the accuracy edge and build a 6ppc since you're using a 1 in 14? Now that you're limited to about 70 grain bullets now anyways I'd think that barrel life would be better with the smaller case of the ppc.
I have made 2 now using standard Rem actions with the stock unmodified extractor (308 case head). Neither have ever skipped over a case. It feels like the would when the bolt is in your hand and you try a case on it but they don't when it's all straight and inline.

Ah ... I see, it's already chambered. You have no reamer and you guys are going to set the head space by chucking it in a lathe and facing a bit off the shoulder or shimming it out? Hope it's close, probably will be. You can encounter problems doing it that way ... like the unsupported gap between the bolt nose and the counter bore in the barrel.

Redding type s FL is the way to go for sizing with TN coated bushing 2 thos smaller than loaded round.
You can save yourself alot of money by ordering a Forster BR seater die in 6BR
from Natchez or other US supplier, and not feel out classed by Redding.

You are going to be limited to very light (short) bullets with a 14 twist. However, it sounds like it was bought to be a target gun, and should be very accurate. Probably 62-65 grain flat base is around the limit, although I have heard of some shooting up to 68 Grain FB. Here are Berger's Recommended Twists. I would recommend the Forster Bushing/Bump sizing die, and Ultra Micrometer Seating die over the Redding. Lower price and equal or better quality. I believe Mystic Precision, Hirsch Precision and others sell Forster. You need a fairly fast powder for those light bullets. Of what you have probably 8208xbr and Reloader 10X may be the most suitable. Other choices would be Benchmark and H322.
If you go the bushing die route then I would suggest you buy your brass first, load some rounds, measure the necks on a dozen or so, take the smallest one, and subtract 0.002". That bushing should give you about 0.001" of fit. If the gun is going to have a magazine, then go 0.001" tighter. Depending on the brass you get bushing size should be in the range of 0.265 to 0.267".
First however, you need to check on the neck size of your chamber. Not uncommon for a target gun to have a reduced neck size, and if that is the case you will have to turn the necks on the brass to give about 0.003" clearance load. Bushing size has to be adjusted down as well to suit.

There are lots of guys shooting 6BR's as varmint guns with ex-PPC barrels in 13.5 and 14" twists.
They work incredibly well with 65-68 brain bullets. You will get blistering 3500+ velocity out of that case and light bullets. Accurate, fast, fun.

Thanks guys, it's to be my first build, but I'm sure it won't be my last! It's for casual target shooting and maybe a little hunting on the side. Would it be better to set it back and chamber for 6ppc or is it to short already? And I will post pictures as I get er done.

I went the other way and re-chambered a 6 ppc to a 6 br. 1-13.5 twist loves the 70 gr Sierra MK @ 3400 fps. Shoots very well. Just saying. This is my short range gopher rifle, furthest contact was 730 yds. Obtunded can back up that claim. Piper.
