RA Release XCR-M Will Be @ Shot Show 2011

The sand's is really not the best venue for the show. Last year they had stuff crammed into every meeting room they had. Some company's have jumped ship and are now at the ANM Expo at the Tuscany, Some like RA are going the with suites

well I dont know, it could turn out to be a good rifle because they only delayed the release of the XCR-M for so long because they were working out kinks in the design blah blah blah.. right?

Well, it just might be a winner, maybe the release delay was to tighten up QC etc. all I know is, even though I've had a couple of issues with my XCR, I'm not going to slag it. I'm happy with the platform and depending on my finances, if available I'd have no problem looking at a .308 version.

If it's a screw together model just like the 223 XCR I can't wait for the headache's of 308 owner's complaining about there rifle's falling apart in there hand's while shooting. Plus no XCRMonger well RA won't be getting a dime from me to be a guinea pig.

Myself I am into supporting Wolverine and their many Canadian distributors so I have no issue supporting the XCR's...

I'm also not afraid of loctiting the little screws/bolts in these rifles and have absolutely no issues with doing so and the pathetic spewing against it just tells me that many of you that spew haven't a clue, think of this all of those trucks/semi's you see driving down the road every internal bolt in their transmissions/differentials/engines are loctited oh my horror of horrors how can that be...

:p

That is not quite correct. Yes there are some fastners that are loctite'd but the vast majorty rely on being installed at the correct torque to remain in place. An eaton fuller or Cummins is no comparison to a firearm.

While there are uncontrolled explosions taking place in a diesel engine they are well contained and burn much slower than gun powder. The end result with multiple cylinders and a kinectic storage device (flywheel) vibration is reduced and you have a smooth running machine.

It is the shock of the discharge, it acts like an impact wrench helping to loosen things in a firearm. The majority of firearms do not contain the complex mechanism required to absorb and dampen the shock. So loctite is the only option for fastners on a firearm, and if incorrectly applied will not work.

Even if the RA owner is a #### I hope the rifle turns out to be great. The more options the better.

I liked my XCR and had no problems with it. Too bad for it I could buy two Ar's for the price:D

Due to not liking the anemic 223 cartridge for hunting my XCR-L upper in 223 maybe going up for sale and I'll put the money toward a -M if it is what I am hoping it to be or an RFB-C if it isn't...

Well that clears that up. I love when members prove their knowledge right in their arguments.

However, if we pretend you are correct, your comparison still does not add up. Your argument relies on the XCR fasteners being Loctited from the factory. They are not, hence the manual telling users to do it.

Camp Cook I was thinking about buying a 223 upper for my 7.62x39 xcr but wasent sure I was thinking of 223 for coyoute what do you think I should do go for 223 or just use the 7.62 ?

After I read this "nice" post from Alex on XCR forum, I wouldn't touch his products with a ten feet pole:

Fourth, if you post a bunch of whiny petty negative stuff here or anywhere, I guaranty very slow service.

If you call with an attitude, my staff has been instructed to put you on the back burner.

We have to question the motives of those who continue to tear us down on this forum. They cannot stop us. Their petty feeble minds are easily exposed. The XCR will gain momentum until it covers the whole earth. There is no other platform like it and it is the best.
