Cougar

My understanding is that it got amazing reviews but the biggest con is that its made from very heavy steel, and is probably th heaviest semi out there.

The weight isn't a big deal for me. Just so much the reliability. Seeing at it is half the price of the remmy. Does anyone know if it accepts remington after market parts?

i've heard it does, bad boy beeson put a new sj forend rail on it , it fit great and some guys put new stocks. one nut did a complete build already looks awsome see if you can find that thread.

They arent that heavy, well balanced as well. Reliability is a factor, as you need to clean it well & break it in to cycle trap loads.

mp5k, got a question for you.

I just received mine yesterday and when compares to my previous 1100 and 1187 did you notice the Cougar uses a big rubber gasket than an o-ring on the Remmy?

Also, the rubber gasket goes on after insert the barrel and seal between the lug on the barrel and the forend vs the Remmy has everything inside the gas cylinder.

My question is will the Cougar function if I put an o-ring like the setup on the Remmy?

If not where can I find replace rubber gasket for the Cougar?

Is CanAm carry any spare parts?

Thx

Well I religiously completeley dtrip and clean all of my guns after shooting and breaking a gun in isn't that big of a deal. I am just worried about trigger assembley internal parts etc.
