Value of Winchester 375??

I'm thinking of selling a Winchester XTR in 375 and was wondering what they are currently going for?They are not common here on the East Coast.It is in very good condition with one scuff in the bluing on the underside of the barrel from being in the boot.It has a red dot scope mounted on it also Thanks

Asking prices in the US seem to be about $500 for a decent used one to a max of around $1000 for a NIB, most mint ones around $800 or so.

They should fetch a premium over the other Big Bores like the 356. Is yours an Angle Eject or Top eject? From my research , the top eject(Edit: wrong, AE are less common ) go for a bit more. I picked up one on the EE here a few months ago for a very fair price, they're really nice guns.

I'd venture a guess you could try around $600-$650, but keep in mind you may have to wait a while before someone bites.

They are a nice rifle and 600 to 650 seems fair to me to considering condition. If you have ammo or brass etc that will help in finding a buyer due to dificulty in finding them. Good Luck.

Just to edit my own post from before, the top eject are the common ones, angle eject are rare as I don't believe they made many in that caliber once they switched to AE in the early-mid 80's..

I get confused sometimes, must be the cold weather........

How do you have the red dot mounted? Scout rail?

Tap and drill over top of the rear sight slot.Gunsmith did it.It works.Couple of private pm's them it'll be in the EE.Can't find the empty brass(need to clean that room)but I have 16 cartridges if it was a local sale

Factory ammo is $50+ per box, and it only comes in 200gr. Reloading is a must for this caliber I think, 225gr. Hornadys and Reloader 7 is what I've used, but I only fired about 35 rounds so far. Finding that brass would definitely help your sale. Lee also makes a factory crimp die that works great.

I had shoulder surgery and the butt sits on the screw they left in my shoulder ,I have a pad but it still is sore the next day.If someone wants 16 brass I can shoot off the cartridges i have and send those empties

That sucks, sorry to hear. Well, with the gun being top eject, you can always learn to shoot left handed.
