Hi Im trying to load 147g RN copper plated I have a Lee turret press & Lee 2nd Editon book but Im a bit confused

Question #1
I am using titegroup, in the manual there is no listing for titegroup under the 147g copper plated the store I bought the Manual & the Aim projectiles from said I should load it like a 147 XTP as its the only listing using titegroup Is this OK to do???

Question#2
Also it lists to load the 147g XTP with 3.2grains of titegroup using the .27 Auto Disk the problem I have is the 4 disk set that came with my press only goes down to .30 So would I just buy the Lee MICRO DISK & SPACER?
Or do I need something else?

Thanks

Actually weight the charge thrown by your disc cavity. you will no doubt find it to throw a lighter charge than advertised..

If you want to throw that charge you are going to need the micro disk.

Titegroup works great with the 147 AIM's.

Try around 1.100" OAL with 3.2 grains of titegroup, it should give you around 900 fps, depending on your gun. That is advice from relliot.

A warning with reading data in manuals, not all data should be interchanged. Take the 147 XTP, eventhough it weighs the same, the OAL might be different, due to bullet design. YMMV.

I'm glad to hear this combination will work good
I have it set to 1.105"OAL
