Well after all the comments regarding the Parallel Target I went down and bought one, and as an added bonus they had a choice of a Burris bino or a Stoeger 177 pellet rifle. I took the pellet rifle and the kids are shooting the heck out of some old yellow pages, gotta a go , its my turn. FS

choices

Sporting clays and trap and skeet and duck hunting and..........
The PT can do it all. Good choice!

thanks CR,

I have always wanted a PT to go with my Extrema II which I have shot a pile of clay targets with. I have a 20 gauge Teknys that also seen a pile of use at the sporting clays fields in Alberta. Like to get that nice Browning out a few times this spring as well.
Have be running the very old PW 375 this winter as I have an abundence of componants that I bought years ago to be loaded. First 1200 are 7/8oz 8's, then I'll load some 1oz, 800 or so.FS

Excellent choice. The PT wasn't generally available when I acquired my first 391 but it is great configuration. I like the stock and the slightly raised rib compared to my Sporting model.

I picked up a 391 PT-SL some time ago and really bonded with it ... the wife liked it so much she wanted one of her own ... a PT-RL ... so they sit "side by each" in the rack. Easy to tell them apart - hers is a 28" mine a 30" - and the Cole upgrade wood on mine is easily as nice as the highly figured stock on my DT-10. Sometimnes a quandry over which to shoot ... the 391 or the DT-10. Both the 391's cycle everything flawlessly ... bothe factory & my reloads ... not a hiccup from either one - ever ! Mine has easily 10,000 rounds through it so far. It gets a pretty thorough cleaning every 10 flats or so, and other than that, just an external wipe-down. One of the best investments was via the US based- Shotgun World website - a "Beretta 391 Disassembly/Reassembly" Manual that US sporting clays shooter "Seamus O'Caiside" (Jim Casada) put together. Lots of well illustrated tips & hints for cleaning, maintenance & modifications. Of late, I've been shooting mostly Skeet with the PT, using factory Kent 24 gram International loads of 8-1/2's. They are a pleasure to shoot and just crush targets ! :D

I know you will enjoy yours !
