Since these are being sold for export hopefully these make it to Canada in a few years if a importer brings these in from ST Kinetics. They look like a nice alternative to the tavor. Sucks that i cant use it as i am a southpaw.

Well they are trying to sell it to americans using their american subsidiary company. So who knowns maybe it will make it into the civilian market.

I believe it is law. Kind of like how Germany strictly regulates the sale of "weapons of war".

I'm in Singapore currently working with their Army.

They will be replacing the SAR-21 shortly -- ST Kinetic's has the maintenance contract on the small arms in the SAF -- but I don't think they are authroized to export - and the weapons are built by another part of the Singapore Defense Industry (SG I think?).
The SAR-21 is a select fire machine gun - not built in semi-auto. We have two in the collect at KAC, that Reed got a long time ago. Its not a good gun (never met a good bullpup anyway). I dont see how any guns could be exported for commercial sales - especially in Canada, due to both Singapore's firearms laws, as well as the fact they'd be at best converted auto's.
