Hey all

Just picked up this Baikal 223 from a fellow Gun Nut! The rings, as you can see have to be on one side of the adjustment knob because the rail is too short!!

Are there rings that are thinner? so I could put one on either side?

Now it shoots fine, but my eye relief is about a 1/2 inch out and I need to move the scope rearward.

Any help would be appriciated.

Friend has one of those guns and has a one piece base on it with rings on both sides. Base looks the same as what they use on air rifles. He moves the entire base and scope to get his eye relief right.
Check out the air rifle bases.

If you decide to go this route do not buy an air rifle product! Recoil??????

There are several cantilever bases designed for AR's and other battle rifles that will do just fine.

I am just showing the style on my friends gun. We are talking the recoil of a 223 here. What recoil??? I must have missed it on my 223 stevens. Some of those air rifle bases are stronger than what I have on my 3006 . You can pay 100.00 plus for cant or 23.00 and work the same. To each his own.
