Just picked up an Enfield Revolver chambered in .38 Smith & Wesson. I am wondering if anyone knows where to find either a)Factory Ammo or b) brass for it. I have done quite a bit of research on it, and have a few good options for handloading, but I NEED to get my hands on some brass.
Thanks

I think you're just going to have to buy some factory ammo and save the brass. It's not exactly common, but it's not really rare either. FYI, the Winchester Super X in the silver box is nickle plated. The Remington Express is standard brass.

Barry F. I just went through a pretty good search on the interweb across Ontario, and within the US, and nada. However, I hit paydirt right in my own backyard ! LeBarons in Ottawa has both .38 S&W in Winchester and Remington. Pricey though, approx 28.00 a box !

tactical870 has some for sale on the EE...4 or 5 boxes iirc
also
.380MKllz is the same round but usually military FMJ and they are fairly stout.
or
you can fireform shortened 38spl brass...bin there done it.

people will tell you it wont work, but trim 38 spec brass fire form, from then on use 38s&w dies. 38 super sizing die is the same. Ive got some that have been reloaded probably 50 times, with a very stout load, and have had no trouble. My webley likes soft bullets bumped pretty hard.
