This thing is supposedly completely submersible for up to 30 minutes, and will work under water.
Charge time eight hrs, avg range, 10 hrs.
High torque at low speed, almost completely silent.
Can be charged from a generator in the back, to extend range.

will fit in a standard pickup, tailgate down.

The US distributor is Hunters Specialties.

The company rep said they have completed the arrangements for a Canadian distributor, but he couldn't remember who that was.

I have stacks of material here from the show, and if I find more info I'll post it to this thread.

...why would someone need a submersible ATV, does it has an actual use or it's purely for a cool factor (witch is fair enough ;)) ? sorry i dont hunt or camp, have no idea what it can be used for

Could be used for crossing small rivers, streams, ponds, one's that are not very deep or fast moving, and no other crossing is available, if the driver can keep their head above water, it would be a way to get across, any other ATV would not get across at all if it was submerged

just my thoughts on a need for this type of unit

any deep woods hunter has crossed serious water.
Check the manual on a typical gas powered machine. They usually tell you not to run the machine in water deeper than the axle hubs.

on the way into my personal moose camp, there is a spot we have to cross that has water levels (when high) close to the bottom of the seat on the machine.
If your engine sucks in a cup of water, it gets expensive.

electric motors develop their highest torque at low speed, low speed is where you need torque, when you are trying to tow something like another ATV, or a moose, or a log, heavy trailer etc.
They are so quiet it's spooky.

Gas machines need high RPM, and thus are much harder to control doing the same work.

It's a personal needs thing. Gas ATV's can be lighter, and have longer range.

I suggest you visit the company website, and make your own decision.

i forgot that electric motors are much quite - better for hunting, hm.. and always though hunters walk after their pray kind of like snipers  thanks guys for clearing that out for me :) know nothing about hunting

wonder if they would have an adaptaion like a governer that can be controlled by hand, so that you dont have to keep your feet on pedals while going through 4 feet of water lol
