Hi all I'm new here and I think this is the right section to post. Found this today and it doesn't look like it's been posted.

I'm certain it won't take long to get banned if it even makes it here but I thought you guys might want to see.

Gonna need a quad rail and cowboy grip cause the front hanguards will get hot with all the rounds outta those BIG 5 rnds mags......... lol

Closest thing we'll likely get to FA, so I like it. Even if all we get is a LAR 10 rnd 3.5 second giggle.

I am no legal expert, but I believe there is a provision in C68 that includes devices that can make a firearm fire more than 1 round with a squeeze of the trigger, but this is only 1 round, so unless it gets OIC'd it might work.

Repost. It will be considered prohibited and won't make it into the country. My opinion only.

Either way it's retarded. If you want simulated fullauto, try bumpfiring. You'll find it inaccurate and a waste of ammo - just like this slidey-stock-crap thing.

My bad on the repost I searched the compay name and came up with nothing. A bumpfire kit is exactly what it is.

I think there might be something in the firearms act about such a modification. I dont have it in front of me, but I seem to remember there was something about modifying and adding stuff to get full auto.. It may be that it was trigger specific (like those tri-burst gadgets).Anyone have a copy of the FA handy

Yes I'm aware of that - I'm saying you don't need a kit (likely prohib) to bumpfire (fully legal).

True! But I think he idea here is to allow you to sight and shoulder the gun properly while bump firing.

I'd imagine at the moment it would be legal because it's not truly full auto. Your finger still hits the trigger on each shot n

In paintball, this sort of thing used to be reffred to as a "reflex trigger". There was a piston pushing the trigger forward while you were pulling back. That created a "sweet spot" that would allow you to have full auto paintball guns in states where they were banned. I know the mechanism is different but the principle is the same.

It likely will get banned, but that said, since it is a complete new contraption, would they need to make a new classification? While reclassifying this item, would they need to re-explore how other guns are classified? I only ask because if the answer is yes, then this invention could go very very well, or very very poorly for us. Just something to think about.

the firearms act mentions devices that attach to or modify the trigger to cause multiple firing but nothing about a spring loaded stock that allows for controlled quick repeat firing, so for now I would think it is legal but good luck getting it here anyway. If you could bring it across the boarder though you may be fine is it is a stock and there is nothing that limits what types of stocks you can own.

It looks like a fun little toy, but that's about it... I've fired enough FA that I've kinda had my fill of it... plus I have control issues... and that means I prefer the "control" I have when shooting semi-auto...:)
