"full auto" kit.

Well, if anyone's interested in this, I checked with the company (Lora at Slidefire) on January 24th and was told that they were checking into "the specifics for Canadian law", to see whether they could sell this item to Canadian customers.

Lora then contacted me Jan 28, and apparently Slidefire is now willing to ship to Canada.

Seems kinda pricey, but if you want one, buy it now!

I am curious to see what kind of accuracy can be had with it. :D

You ether take the plunge NOW while it is available or regret it later after the RCMP have decided to arbitrarily classify this a device of mass destruction.

There is reference being made to the Akins Accelerator of several years ago. The Akins used a spring and therefore was a mechanical device which was what the BATF used to remove their approval. The Slidefire uses the operators muscles to make a conscious effort to fire the next round.

It is nothing more than a loose fitting stock and muscular control. I would LOVE to see the court battle over this device. RCMP have decided to classify your muscle group as a prohibited device. LOL

Anyhow, get it now, because somewhere down the road, some asswipe will try to prohibit these using some Liberal Anti-Gun Logic and then the ensuing court battles will begin.

I think it does have a certain "$hits and giggles" value. I reload, which is a time consuming process. At 700 rounds per minute, you can eat lots of money and time in just a few short minutes.

I try to order it from Slidefire but every time I click confirm order the site automatically cancel my order. And from the website I see there is no international shipping. So does it really ship to Canada? I want one desperately.

:confused:Maybe we should discuss jury-rigging sentences......

Great post Joe. Man you cleared everything up with that one.

Focus on the debate and not the spelling. Lets hear your 2 cents worth on the idea of Jury Rigging Semi's for full auto fire.

Quite the little smart ass aren't ya. Insulting my spelling is not enough Joe ,I need some intelligent debate from ya. Otherwise,I may be arguing with an elementary school student, who happens to do quite well in his/her Spelling Bee's, but thats about the extent of what i get out of your post.:kickInTheNuts::canadaFlag:

What is shipping cost to Canada?

ETA: Would this not be a $100+ "gun part" or are stocks exempt from that rule?

Posted this in the other thread on the Slidefire, as well... perhaps these should be amalgamated into one thread??

OK, total impulse purchase - ordered it a while ago, as I wanted to try it out. Meant to cancel the order, as I sold my last AR a couple weeks ago to fund another purchase... but forgot to

Anyway, it's here - first one in Canada, so far as I know :) I'll post a range report once I line up someone to go to the range with who actually owns an AR carbine, hopefully this weekend, but probably not for a week or two.

It seems very solid; it fits very tightly and slides smoothly on a milspec buffer tube. The little switch on the bottom locks it very solidy if you don't want to bump-fire. I think it's going to work exactly as advertised.

Hard to debate when I have to read the sentence 20 time to understand what you are trying to say. I got the spelling, was having trouble with the structure.;) Didn't realize you were so sensitive. Can I buy you a slurpy or something?

If it is not "operating the trigger" as per the law, then it should be good to go.

The structure may have been corrupted by improper comma positions and not enough proof reading after. I am trying to spend more time rereading before submitting. Being moved to rant, does not lend itself to accurate grammar.

The reference I made to spelling was due to your signature, which looks at times, to be part of your actual post.

If you read the post carefully ,though I will agree there is some rambling, you will see I'm saying they could prohib the SA to prevent FA because of the uncontrolled breaking of the "Spirit of the Law" regarding who uses full auto and who doesn't.:50cal:

Is this a valid point to bring up regarding the original posters reference to an "attachment", not being biased by "What we need", or "What they have already done to us",?

And no I don't want a Slurpy! A Tims coffee maybe.

Reading the part about how its good for "physically challenged sportsmen" mad me chuckle. Is that wrong?
