Free Deer Tags- Kilarmey Manitoba

I did a search and found it is a 2 week season starting Jan 17. There are 200 tags to be given out to anyone interested. You have to show a licence from this years deer season, and have landowners permission. Last I heard there were only a few tags left, and that was a couple of weeks ago.
 
If I had any free time I would have gone and relieved a little of their pressure. They could always let us bowhunters go into town....

Why wouldn't they allow bows? I can sort of see rifles not being on there. If the town and conservation were serious about fixing the problem they would allow 10 "proven" archers into town limits and have a couple of days worth of "trimming".

All they will say now is that if they let 200 hunters go at it and they didn't even dent the population there is nothing to do but "destroy" them. Way to go government. Once again you finally realized there was a problem but your solution was doomed for failure because you didn't have the balls to do it right.
 
would it be aginst the law to have thre or four guys walk thru thre area that is in town with out guns to push the deer out of there hiding place . we have this problem here in london and kw as well as other citys lots of deer yard up in city limits in the winter . just wondering DUTCH
