For cast bullets it usually only sees use in small cases like the Hornet,Whisper, etc. Of course any large handgun round will work great with 296 cast bullet or otherwise, as well as the .410 shotgun.

I use H110 in 257rob, 30-30, .303 br. 30-40 Krag, 30-06 and 308 cast loads with good accuracy, but it doesn't achieve high velocity in any of them. W296 is, i think a very nearly identical powder. A good start would be to use Alliant 2400 data, starting at the light end.
