Good grief, that rep obviously doesn't know much about target rifles.I should point out here that the person I talked to was not filled in on the details of these rifles, and as such, the images are about the best I can do here.
Sorry Jason, those pics are all I have at the moment, and I can't get answers to your questions now, as I'm in the departure lounge.Good grief, that rep obviously doesn't know much about target rifles.
Do you have any pictures showing the right side of the rifles? Are any of the aluminium-stocked rifles available in something other than polished?

the 8002 pictured, is what the booth attendant escribed as the type that would be used to win a state championship.
I guess that means you noticed the shiny blue pressure cylinderThe 8002 is a high pressure air rifle.

Notice the black cylinder shape in front of the biathlon .22, which is against the back wall of the display. That is an AR-15/M-16 style trainer with the guts of the 8002 stuffed into it. (I talked to the guys at the booth as well.)
So little time, so much to see. If I were doing it again, I think I'd spend more time on the booths I did visit, and less time wandering booth to booth. How come you didn't take pictures of the A3 AUG in the corner???

He described this model as "entry level"
Things have come a long long ways since my youth shooting 22 in local competition.

The "guy I should be a talkin' to" was in meetings with buyers when I visited the booth.
