Help with my LMT MRP

Hey guys, just got an LMT MRP upper in a trade and man is it sweet!!! Nicest AR I have owned this far! Anyways the advantage of the mrp is the ability to switch barrels. Unfortunately questar is out and not expecting anymore anytime soon. So I was looking for one on the EE and found one for a good deal, only problem is the gas block will stick out past the end of the rail. I have the 10.5" one, so I'm guessing it's got a barrel with a carbine length gas system? So I want to take advantage of the barrel change options, is it possible to get longer length barrels with a carbine length gas system sonthat the gas block won't stick out past the rail? I would like to pick up a 16" if possible.

Also if anyone has a barrel that fits my criteria let me know I would be glad to take it off their hands.
