Yes and no. The RCMP had decided that if the receiver mounts, and fires, a standard AR15 upper, it is an AR15 variant.

Because my AR is restricted I have to buy more guns. Gun control FAIL.

Honestly, I could do everything I needed to with one lower and a few uppers. If we were going to focus on one gun to make non-restricted it'd be the AR-15.

If the AR15 were non-restricted, I could literally own THREE guns and be content. A good 12 gauge, a good lower in 5.56 and a good lower in 762NATO.

Alas, it is not to be and I have to settle for owning dozens of deadly baby-killing death machines that will kill you all by themselves if just left leaning against the wall without a trigger lock.

I know a few RCMP that are into shooting and agree that the laws are fcuked. Remember that it's goverment that pass laws.

The CPC should have never made the CFC under RCMP control. I remember posts on here saying it was great they were doing that.

AR180B is the only NR AR available as far as I'm know. I've considered getting one, but now I'm leaning towards an XCR. A bit more money, but a better looking rifle IMO, and I've heard is a better rifle all around. I've never more then stroked one in the local shop, would love to get my hands on one at a range for testers sake . If an AR15 was NS I'd take that instead though...
