Tell me about it. I wanna build something similar! That's a pretty stock !

it breaks down as follows:

the stock is a Bell & carlson Anschutz.

the barrel is a Dlask 12.5" heavy barrel.

scope is a leupold vx-I 2-7x33

it has some upgraded internals and the action is coated in a very smooth red finish, hope that helps.

I was planing to get that barrel an now that stock too. But I'm gonna mount a red dot on it and use it as a plinker. Kinda wana do something different as I have a precision rim fire rifle already

accuracy wise, she is top notch at 25 m (dime size), and pretty good at 50m (loonie size), but i tried it at 100m and they were all over the place.

mind you, all i shoot through it is lapua standard plus and eley target which are both standard velocity if i remember correctly, perhaps the lack of speed and or short barrel cause velocity to drop to a point not ideal for long range accuracy.

or perhaps i need more magnification, 32x should do the trick :)

as to legality, she is just over the 26" limit, i think about 26.75"

Nice!!

I am in the process of building/modifying a 10/22

Have a Dlask 12.5" barrel as well.

Modified the factory synthetic stock, to accommodate the heavy barrel and add a forward mounting picatinny rail, (Modified cheap Chinese "Universal Weaver Style Quad-Rail Barrel Mount").

Also ordered some Volquartsen parts just a few hrs ago from Rimfire Sports. (the reviews from CGNers were overwhelming)

Plan to Arma-Coat the metal parts but it sounds like I need to sand blast them before the arma-coat process.

However I will get some pics up as soon as I get it completed. I promise :)

having dlask build me up a 16" heavy barrel... was going to go with the shorter barrel but will be a grouse gun so 16 gives me optimum performance for shooting heads off grouse at 50 yards LOL
the new receivers dlask came out with recently also got me in stock designing mode and will be releasing a new line of carbon fiber 10/22 stocks this year, no ETA but it is in the works.
can't wait for Joe to call and tell me my new 10/22 is ready, will be my first, believe it or not and i'm kinda looking forward to it. perhaps a shorter version will be in order for the second one.

keep the pics coming. ;)

^i cant get over how great that is! nice work!

heres mine i just finished up.
the stock is from rimfiresports.com (had it within 5 days of ordering to canada!!!!!!!!!!!)
12.5" barrel, i cut the stock back about 1.5" on the front and added a BA looking scope (just a cheap NcStar)
it shoots nice and true! and is still about 28"
