Hey guys, I want this gun very badly. I shot it in Vegas and it worked like a charm, so I guess what I would like to know is could I buy this off of any web sites that would ship to Canada or do I have to buy it at my local gun club?

If there is any Web sites that I could buy it off of, witch ones are they?

O and im interested in buying the version that would shoot either .40 S&W or
.45 ACP.

Thanks guys !!

you can buy it off any website but it has to be in canada.US sites do not ship to individuals in canada. Check to see if any sponsors here have it or check your local gun store. Where are you located?
You can also sign up to Equipment exchange section here and find a good deal on one as well.
Remember this carbine is mostly restricted. Only few have been re barreled to non restricted and you will pay more for those.Yous best choice is one in 9mm or .40 cal
Good luck..if you have any questions PM me anytime

check this one ...bottom of the page and next page as well.

if you are in SW ontario then al simmons has one in .40

They've started producing the .45 ACP model again in the last year or so. P&D had them in stock a while back, and even Beretta's website is once again listing the specs for the .45 ACP model.

I've seen a few new .45's around too. I picked up the 9mm though as it's a little cheaper to shoot and I've already got the USC.

i stand corrected. thanks for the update.

On a similar note, does anyone know where to get the trigger upgrade to the CX4? I tried Brownells, but apparently, the DDTS says its a not on the list...

I tried but I didn't get any where with this. Let me know if you get any results, please. Apparently, Brownells won't export these to Canada even though I have been told differently by the creator of this product. But some people here in Canada have obtained the product and I don't know how they did it.

hear is a bit of a twist to this. I dont have my Rpal..I know I know, get it. I wil be asap. Anywho. I want one of these carbine's, is it possable to buy a used one, have this mod done and then get it transfered into my name?

Lest the government has abolished taxes, they want their tribute.

The old barrel is kept by the armorer.

Sorry to disagree ki11ercane, but the old (restricted) barrel is the property of the purchaser not the armorer.

If the gunsmith/armorer is doing the change out and doing the verification and changing the status of the gun, they keep the barrel along with any paperwork associated with the change over. This is the case in this situation with the CX4 Storms we get done.

So "yes" you're right you can keep the barrel if you bought a new barrel for a firearm, installed it, sent it (the firearm) to a verifier (or the CFO) and had it's status changed. The barrel then stays with you along with your paperwork.

Except in the case of prohibited to restricted status change. The barrel has to be surrendered.
