Anyone got fold down BUIS on thier CZ's? I have the NEA railed stock adapter, and will soon own the railed barrel clamp. I have removed the front sight/bayonet lug, and want to attach some fold down front and rear BUIS. I was looking at this one from Troy http://www.cgwgun.com/AR15-Sights/Troy-Micro-Battle-Sights__SSIG-IAR-SMBT-00.aspx Just wondering what others where doing in the iron sight dept?

I don't have any on my VZ as i rather not screw with its original looks to much, but I do have use with them on the AR15 and Troy are the best, but i Use the regular not the micros, micros are for guns with a stock that sits a little lower than ar15s and probally inline stock adapters like the NEA.

Lower 1/3 collocation on my aimpoint T1 micro mounted go GEN-II NEA hand guards.

Edit: NVM. Just read, you are looking for folding BUIS set.

I have originals that co-witness with my red dot. I just couldn't bring myself to screw with its traditional looks that much.

I know what you mean, but i wanted to remove weight from the weapon. Also i went with the inline ar15 stock adapter so the old irons became usless. I am going to buy another CZ and customize wood stocks to it and keep it more as a show peice.

Yankee Hill QDS set. Excellent quality and very low profile folded. Get the NEA upper handguard as well and slap an RDS on it and you'll have a nice co-witness with your BUIS. The NEA system rocks.

Huh???
What is wrong with the set that is part of the rifle? I thought that's why NEA made there handguards like that? Also slapping AR15 iron sights on a CZ 858 will work?
I'm lost on this set-up. Please post pic's once done to enlightened us noob's to this set-up.

My setup will basically look just like ^^^^^^^
When you attach a buttstock that is inline with the top of the rifle, your line of sight changes from what it was with the factory stock, and the old irons become useless. Look at some pictures on the tacticool cz forum. You will see some rifles have been customized to be inline and others havnt(stock angled slightly down). the ones that arnt inline can still use the factory irons. I like inline because I find a cheek weld better, and recoil is into my shoulder, and not my face.

Being an admirer of the CZ858 but some one whom knows little about CZ858's. Simply having little interest due to the BUIS set up with short dot/red dot and a conventional AR type butt stock which I'm use too I was uniterested in the CZ 858. This set up solves my main issue with this rifle platform. Seeing this post has me greatly interested. However I would like to know where and how I can purchase such a sight and stock adapter set up? Is there a folding stock option? Currently I do not own a CZ 858 but after seeing this set up depending on availability I could be owning one tomorrow.

Thank you

Well to start you want to look at NEIT Arms>>>>>>> http://www.neitarms.com/index.php?m...page=1&zenid=0607ea51c648d7291e56c0411afa3d7d
I suggest buying most of your parts from them. As far as I know if you go for the BUIS option you wont be able to have a folding stock. This is because you need to by the NEA railed stock adapter to mount your rear iron. The stock adapter accepts an ar15 buffer tube(commercial diameter), so I think that rules out folders. So once you got the railed stock adapter, you will need the NEA railed barrel clamp for your front iron. If you want to co-witness a red dot to you irons you will want to also buy the NEA hand guard upper, and lower set. The railed stock adapter, upper hand guard and barrel clamp are all same plane. I also suggest a Fab defense pistol grip. Anyways I will put links for the four items I talked about even though they are on that site. Just so you know exactly which peices I mean.
