There was a rumour floating around that tons of ammo was bulldozed into pits and buried over at the old CIL plant in northern Ontario. Wouldn't that be interesting?
 
Well a Mosin Nagant can use 7.62x54r and 7.62x25mm if you use an adapter.

the mouth of halifax harbour. the harbour "boiled" for days after ships drop thier loads into the wters there. the boiling was the air excaping out of trucks, tanks, planes ammo crates you name it. ive seen a thompson smg from halifax harbour, its rust but you can make out what it is. cordite is found on most beaches along halifax harbour. take a drive to bear cove and any of those liitle coves. the navy still comes along and cleans up the old ammo by the shovel full. but i warn you, that stuff after 60 years in the water is VERY unstable. dont mess with the 4 inch navel shells.

You need to request access to the EE. There are instructions in the top level EE forum on how to do this. Basically, you fill in the request and then a mod reviews it and approves you in a day or two. Alternatively, just PM ki11ercane for the details.

D'oh! I just finished applying to the membership and hoped to make it back to this thread in time to edit my post and hide my obvious noobness...
 
Have you guys noticed differences in the different years of czech 7.62x39? Is there a difference in quality between the earlier cases of 1120 rounds and the later ones with 1200?
