Don't think it's a semi, there is no gas system and the action does not look recoil operated. I think it's a right had bolt action and the photo is of the left side, therefore we can't see the bolt in the photo.

a friend in the USA sent me the pic as a teaser. he gave me a few clues and I had to search some other forums till I finally found it.
It fits in a suit case and reportedly marine snipers have tested it and got 6.5 in groups at 900 yards. Im not a long distance shooter but that seems pretty good for a firearm that be assembles or dissasembles in less then 90 seconds.
as for the alias...Im on assignment earth shhhhh LOL
 
I doubt it would be restricted. As long as it's over 26" folded up there would be no reason why you couldn't get one.

I have an AR-7 explorer which packs into the butt stock, similar design to that, and it's non-restricted.
 
It is sold by Thor Global Arms check with Questar they are able to bring them in classed as non restricted. Also available in 408 Chey Tac cheaper than the Intervention.
 
What type of material would they be using in those rods holding the but-stock? I am just imagining the recoil energy of that caliber on a bolt action... I would hope they wouldn't but small as they seem to be those rods look like they would bend and not do much to firm up the whole rig...no? Havent held or played with one but from were i am sitting the whole stock assembly seems a bit shaky to me.

Second...Marine Scout Snipers tested this weapon at the High Altitude Shooting Course in Hawthorne, NV and were able to hold 3 inch groups at 600 yards and 6.5 inch groups at 905 yards.

I was looking at this rifle last year, and found out that
It is not made by AMSD in Europe that produces the Nemesis 50 cal.
It is an American company EDM Arms. They have pretty much every caliber available including a 50 cal.
