Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on th PWS MK107 Diablo in 7.62x39? So far I've read good things especially with the new C Products mags. Velocity would be about 1850fps.

I have an issue of special weapons for military and law enforcement that has this bad boy on its front page . Its a ###y firearm and would love to get one and they had nothing but awsome things to say about it .

The thing I like about it is that the bolt carrier and piston are one piece. This should help to mitigate carrier tilt problems.

I was hoping one of the NUTZ had one and could give some feedback on it.

That is one gun on my wishlist. Still kind of wished they made one with a 10" barrel. Also, there isn't a free float rail on there nor is it allowed due to the proprietary parts that connect to the rail.

I have the 7.62 Diablo upper and run it on a SA lower with a PWS buffer tube. It's awesome out to 100m. I did throw the upper on a FA lower (in a fully legal setting) but burping out 5 rd mags got pretty lame fast. Build quality is excellent and you will not be disappointed.

I would also like to know how well this eats surplus ammo and if it's easy to clean after to avoid corrosion. Thanks.

^^^thanks for the post. Did you run it with surplus ammo? No problems?

I run Norinco non-corrosive, steel-case through it exclusively. I have not run any of the Czech surplus through it but can't imagine that would be a problem as both types of ammo cycle through my SKS similarly. I have shot some s&b ammo through it and it printed 4 MOA at 100M consistently.

Cleaning is painless - clean the barrel and chamber with a bore snake and Butch's Bore Shine, wipe the carrier, wipe the piston and you're done. I would imagine you would want to be diligent with cleaning using Czech ammo.

One thing to note is the upper on mine is a Vltor whereas the newer ones use a PWS milspec upper. I think this reduces cost while not compromising performance whatsoever.

Wow, almost a grand more than MSRP in the states ...interesting.

We're still trying to catch up after the SHOT Show and get all the updates onto our website. PWS dropped the pricing of a number of their guns at the show and we are in the process of adjusting pricing on our website.

These price changes are a monumental task... SIG's changes alone amounted to hundreds of items that all needed to be reviewed, updated, etc.. That took us the better part of last week to complete. This has to be done with nearly every product line we carry.

You should see the price of most MK1 series guns fall dramatically based on the new pricing structure we worked out with PWS. They won't be the same as US pricing but they will be $100's less than what they were before. (Unfortunately the MK2-308 series guns did not benefit from any price drops).

If I'm not mistaken I believe the MK107-762 is now $1,999.99 and anyone who had placed an order in the past couple weeks is getting the adjusted price.

What 'fully legal setting' would allow a FA lower, but not standard capacity mags?

On another note, the 762x39 would be great, as long as good mags are available.

Got the schedule moved up... you should see the new (lower) pricing for the PWS items posted now. Most of the MK1 Series Rifles dropped... so did most of the uppers... pretty much all of the FSC Flash Suppressing Compensators are now reduced.
