Calgary April Long Weekend Show??

April 22-23 right?

If you've never been, bring....

1) lots of cash (some bigger dealers take credit), not sure what the entry fee is this year. Last year was $10 if I remember correctly.
2) comfortable shoes, its a good 2 - 3 hours just to stop and look at every table when its busy
3) water
4) go really late so you leave all the good stuff for me :D

Oh yeah.. and $13 for parking

Its $12 now, but the last time I was there I swore I saw a sign that said it was going up to $13 right before the show.

Haha, yeah... I was gonna put "just" in bold letters... 2-3 hours is "looking" at every table.... your right though, if you plan at actually looking at something and/or chatting with vendors it is an all day event...

I've been the last 2 years but have terrible memory and can't remember the date. Easter weekend - got it.

Calgary Easter gun show

Ya, this is the end all beat all of gun shows, a must see. If you plan to look at everything it can take a little time, first year I went 5 hours, 4 1/2 the next. Don't take plastic bags, plan on a good backpack, first time I went I got about 500 rdn's ammo (9mm,45,223) plus a couple of other items, trust me that gets real heavy after 5 hours, above all you will have a good time:agree:

You got to be kidding right? There are local gun shows in the lower mainland. They're not of the same scale as the annual Calgary or even Kamloops show, but worthwhile dropping in once in a while. They're held monthly by w ww.hacsbc.ca. The annual 2 day show is next month Mar 12 & 13.

Calgary is a fun, wild weekend. There will be a few people that have crossed oceans to see the firearms at this show. The first time I went I was 7 years old, with my Dad and we had a couple tables. Now I'm 33, I'm going with my Dad, and we have a couple tables.

Make sure to attend the CSSA dinner that weekend as well!

More details to follow :p
Lots of products up for the silent auction.

We'll take video of the TSE table and the laser pointers this year :)

Me and the girl go every year, don't see why this year would be any different :) Baby needs a new .22 handgun, and I'm afflicted by random-impulse-buy-itis at these things. We've added TSE to the weekend ritual as well after seeing last year's sale.

If you're new to gunshows, you might want to bring something to check prices online with (smartphone, etc). There are some very good deals to be had, but some very not-so-good ones also. It's like the EE in there sometimes :D

10 tables ki11ercane? I might have to bring a backpack after all :/
